DONATE TO OUR MUSEUM

The Museum is a local community charity which does receives limited regular funding.

It is largely operated by volunteers with minimal paid staff.

To continue our work preserving and explaining the past for the future, it needs your support to raise the £35,000 a year it costs to break even and ensure survival.

There are a number of ways you can support the museum, from making a donation to using online shopping schemes.

Online Shopping Schemes

The Museum has signed up to two online shopping schemes to help raise money at no extra cost to you.

Amazon Smile

Amazon Smile lets you raise money for the museum whilst shopping on Amazon. All you need to do is sign in to Amazon Smile using your Amazon account, and each time you use it, we receive a small donation.

Easyfundraising

Easyfundraising raises money when you shop on many websites, including Ebay, Sainburys, Marks and Spencers and Booking.com, among many others.

To raise money, you need to sign up to Easyfundraising, and then access the places you want to shop through their website to make the donation.

Other ways you can help the museum include joining our Friends, becoming a Patron or a Volunteer.
