It is with deep regret that we learned of the death of Michael Leppard. Michael was instrumental in setting up the museum as it’s its first Hon.Curator in 1976 and remaining a trustee until 2011.
He was a distinguished local historian writing books and papers published in The East Grinstead Society’s bulletins of which he was the editor from its inception.
His funeral will take place on October 18 at 11am in St Swithun’s Church. All are welcome to attend.
