Our upcoming exhibition uses local creative talent to reflect the rich and varied history of East Grinstead and the surrounding villages.
As part of the project, the museum invited local artists for their creative responses. They used a mixture of objects, from items about local trades, to ones about historical events, as a creative springboard. In addition, the artists took part in sessions, connecting and learning about these items.
As a result of these sessions, artists created work in a variety of media, helping to showcase the diverse artistic talents of local people. This work forms the backbone of our upcoming display.

The exhibition runs from Wednesday 22nd September to Saturday 30th January 2022
