Opening in February 2023, our latest temporary exhibition, ‘An Aerial View – East Grinstead from the sky’ brings together aerial photography from the Museum’s archive and the private collection of local photographer, Richard Evans.
The exhibition plots a visual narrative of East Grinstead and the surrounding villages over the decades, showing the shifts and changes in our urban and natural landscapes.
East Grinstead continues to develop and evolve, and the exhibition encourages you to use the curated photographs to explore the town and its history, are there areas which you knew as a child that look different now? Or perhaps there are parts of the town which look exactly the same despite a lengthy passage of time.
