Church visits Rebuilding Bodies & Souls Exhibition

American and European staff from St Hill visited the museum today for a tour given by Trustees Simon Kerr and Bob Marchant. They were astonished by the fascinating history of the Town as told by Simon and totally absorbed by the tales of Sir Archibald McIndoe and his pioneering plastic surgery involving his 649 Guinea Pigs, as recounted by Trustee and McIndoe team member Bob Marchant. Fellow trustee and museum chairman Lloyd Richards gave the visitors a behind the scenes tour of the museum accompanied by former Chairman, Andrew Brock and Town Mayor, Councillor Robert Mainstone

Comments from guests included ‘brilliant exhibition’, ‘the Guinea Pigs hardship is an unbelievable story’, ‘great job’, ‘the Town and the Guinea Pigs should be very proud of this asset and  the history of our Town’
