Modern Macrame

Modern Macrame

Macrame is a textile created from knots – the earliest examples date from the Babylonians!

Students will work with a few basic knots to create a sampler of macrame patterns and a colourful bracelet.  During the day students will work at their own pace learning the skills to enable them to produce macrame items from fine jewellery to wall hangings and plant holders.

All materials will be provided but there will be some yarn for sale to take home.  Sales are cash only. There will be a break for lunch, and tea and coffee will be available throughout the day.
