Local author, Colin Pateman, will focus on the special clubs that evolved within the RAF during the Second World War and the medals awarded to these men. His experience as a Police dog training instructor will go some way in explaining his interest in the ‘Cockpit Companions’ which are the focus of another one of his books.

Join us as he talks us through his experiences and his interest in this topic. Visitors will also have the chance to look around our exhibition; Rebuilding Bodies & Souls.
